I AM WORKING NAAOOO!!! YAAAHAAA!!!

I am working at a local 2D animation company - ANIMASIA! Just started work for about five days and so far all I have to say about the working experience is, I really enjoyed myself there. I totally love the working environment and the working as well as relaxing spaces. Where can you find a studio in Malaysia which dedicated one of it's floor just for recreation and games?!! The whole floor!! WOOHTT!! They have PS2, Wii (just came by today), snooker board, pingpong, punching bag (came by two days ago), shelves full of comics and magazines, and also mini-theatre (seriously like a mini TGV or GSC cinema) where staff can karaoke and let the stress out. All on the same floor.

They have just finished renovating the ground floor and it's turned into a nice office and studio already. They have put up big signboard in front of the building so that you'd notice it easily. (Mind you before this I had trouble finding the place XD)

I also love the colleague. Most of them are really friendly. Loves to smile and greet people around. I felt very welcomed and warm. ^^ Plus all of them enjoys ACG (anime comics games) stuff and I felt a sense of belonging. My past working environment when I was torturing myself as an architecture student was totally different from what I felt here.

Back in my architecture studio, I hardly could find people who can draw figures (not that there's none but very few), no one knows how to CG using photoshop. No one reads comics. No one plays knows what cosplay is. No one.. well, the list could go on. Heheh..
Oh did I say No one.. I exaggerated. I meant to say, "very few".. :3

All in all, it's a great experience for me to learn and work about animation at the same time. I have no knowledge in flash but little by little, I'm gaining the knowledge. Thanx so much for the people there who're very helpful and concerned. (every now and then come by my place and ask how I'm doing) O_O

So for any of you Malaysians out there who're very interested in arts and animation, maybe trying to find a job but has no higher education qualification (degree, diploma, whatever) and most importantly, have the willingness to gain knowledge and to learn new things, I'd recommend you to come for an interview to work. Even if you don't plan to join, the interview itself has given so much knowledge already. ^^ Yep!!
